Outreach Week 2 and 3 The first

In the second week on Tuesday we designed a so-called, after-school club. The schools close here at 15:00 and the club we want to give children the opportunity to have to play a little, until their parents come home. At first it was not easy to deal with the different characters and ages (5 to 10). Some children from difficult backgrounds here that do not take it with the discipline for sure. We have divided our group into two teams of two families, one team has the responsibility for these kids club, our team make the speech during the so-called Group Crafts, a craft group with mainly older ladies. During this time there is also a nursery (the grandmothers or mothers bring children of preschool age and can tinker undisturbed while - often go both parents work) and our task It is also to look after the children.

I have already found two special friends: Marisa, Danielle, both four years old and love to herumzuturnen on me.

We also make a survey for the church in the neighborhood. Here one can understand how well does a representative if he knocks on external doors. Not all people are friendly and make them pop the door when they hear the word 'church'. Not an easy ground, it's the people in this area quite well, as seen also in the houses. Let's see how it will look in the poorer area.

On Friday it means above all prayer and preparation for the services. On Saturday morning evangelism is at the center or on the beach on the plan.

On Sunday, we help the community with the teen group and prayer marches (in particular, to prepare for the polls).

Monday is free. In order to prepare Sabine feel at home, we took a gondola (Doppelmayr - Made in Austria) on a mountain (hill) at Christ Church and walked around a bit.

The challenge for us in outreach, especially in organization and management of Downs - not everything works out as one might have desired. Communication is also a big issue.
