The lesson this week focused on biblical principles about the nature of God. From Bible facts the nature and character of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit was unterrichet. The speaker is a Dutch immigrant, and brought the material over a fun way. You will know that he is excited about the Bible and that this book is for him not theory but practice.
He has aged 40 years in a Protestant school Lisa Transportation decided to work 8 months in a wool factory. He was alone on the fact that he in any kind of breakfast greeted. He also tried to talk to a geek, and gave up even when the latter refused him first. Then he spent some time with his family (five children) in Queenstown (South Island, a tourist resort surrounded by mountains, similar to Maurach or Seefeld) and survived the open-house style, wanted so just used the fact that they transients gratuitously accommodated.
He knows very well in biblical history, language and culture and brought us some really scriptures to life.
He described as the Place where Jesus heals a blind man by spitting on the floor, making a slurry with soil and thus heals the blind man very much alive (Gospel of John Chapter 9, we almost fell off his chair laughing): It was frowned upon by the pious Jews that you spit on the floor. That in itself was already offensive. Now one must imagine, however: In order to make a porridge sensibly can, I need you already have an associated charge spit. What should have been the most listened to when Jesus first of all get throat really, to bring up possible much spit ...
So we really had fun with his vivid descriptions.
There was also some work: I had to three other men digging for a water line and other lines carry (which of course had the inevitable blisters on the hands to follow). And that night I was split this week for dishwashing sink, was not lazy this time.
Home-Schooling: A few questions were there regarding home schooling. Well, we found out that it is better if Ruth is working on projects. So she has this week as an essay written about the kiwi, the weekend in Rotorua they could study in more detail.
I've entered a few photos of the Home School. Her teacher - Eve - is a real Unicum, but for Ruth Angela is still holding Best. But even with Eve, she has a lot of fun. Interestingly, it is now next week, when Michelle is gone. Well, then Ruth finally learn it in English, however, she resists a little bit.
